DNCA Finance recruits a specialized utilities sector analyst
DNCA announces the arrival of Julie Arav, specialized European utilities sector analyst.
Paris, February 23, 2018 – DNCA, which has more than one hundred and ten staff across three offices in Paris, Milan and Luxembourg, announces the arrival of Julie Arav, specialized European utilities sector analyst, who will join Isaac Chebar’s team, alongside Don Fitzgerald and Maxime Genevois.
Julie Arav, aged 36, holds a “Master 224” degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine. She began her career in the Equity Research department at Ixis Securities in 2006 (later Natixis) as an analyst on European utilities sector stocks.
She joined Kepler Capital Markets as an equity research analyst in 2010, continuing to cover the utilities sector with a focus on French companies.
Julie then moved to London in 2011 to join Barclays Capital as VP equity research analyst in the European utilities team.
After three years between London and Paris, she returned to Kepler Cheuvreux in 2014 as a senior equity research analyst on the European utilities sector.
Julie joined DNCA Finance on February 19, 2018 as a generalist financial analyst with the aim of extending the analysis and screening scope to select stocks for investments in the portfolios or for stock-picking opportunities with a value and contrarian approach.
Julie Arav states: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join DNCA Finance’s investment management team, which has an excellent reputation and boasts strong performances, and particularly look forward to extending my analysis capabilities to other sectors after 12 years specializing on utilities. I am very excited about this new challenge, which I hope to meet with success”.
Isaac Chebar notes: “Julie’s arrival to our team will make a key contribution to bolstering its skills and will enable us to extend our investment process to better meet our clients’ requirements”.
