Jean-Charles Mériaux

Jean-Charles Mériaux is a graduate of HEC Paris School of Management.

After starting his career at Crédit Foncier de France, he joined Oddo & Cie in 1987. In 1994, he joined LCF Edmond Rothschild Asset Management, where he became a member of the Executive Board and Head of French and European Equities Management. He launched and managed funds Tricolore Rendement and Saint-Honoré Convertibles.

He joined DNCA in October 2002 as managing partner and portfolio manager of Eurose and Centifolia. In October 2005 he became Chief Investment Officer of DNCA.

Igor de Maack

Igor de Maack graduated from HEC Paris School of Management and is a qualified member of the French financial analysts' association (SFAF) and also holds a postgraduate specialist diploma in International Taxation.

He began his career at Deloitte & Touche. In 1998, he joined the Project Financing department at BNP Paribas. In 2002, he moved to IXIS where he headed the group’s participation in the financing project for the A 28 motorway, then joined the equity research team at Ixis Securities and became senior Vice President of primary equity markets at Lazard-lxis.

He joined DNCA Finance in 2007 as an infrastructures portfolio manager.

Isaac Chebar

Isaac Chebar holds a chemical engineering degree from the Polytechnic school of the University of Sao Paolo in Brazil.

He began his career at Société Générale managing emerging market funds and funds investing in Southern Europe. In 2000, Isaac joined Tocqueville Finance where he set up and managed Tocqueville Value Europe until 2002. He then joined Aviva asset management as head of European investments managing several discretionary funds.

He joined the DNCA Finance management team in 2007.

Rajesh Varma

Rajesh Varma is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BSE 1986 and MBA 1988).

He began his career at Fidelity in Hong Kong as an analyst covering Asian markets. Between 1991 and 1993 he worked in a hedge fund in Hong-Kong (Arral Associates - the first Asian hedge fund) covering Asia and technology. In 1993, he set up an Asia hedge fund at KI Pacific AM based in London. In 1997, he joined Montgomery AM in San Francisco as fund manager specialising in several global sectors. At the end of 2000, he moved to Paris, where he worked for two years at Eurazeo. Rajesh joined Carmignac Gestion in December 2002 where he managed global funds focusing on new technologies, healthcare and renewable energies, participating in Asian stock-picking for the whole range of funds.

He joined the DNCA Finance management team in September 2010.

Carl Auffret

Carl Auffret is a CFA charterholder and also holds a master’s degree in Management and a postgraduate degree in Banking and Finance from Paris IX Dauphine University.

In 1999, he began his career at SG Securities in London as a sell-side analyst covering the consumer goods sector. In July 2003, he returned to France to become sector fund manager/analyst at CM-CIC Asset Management before taking over the Union Europe Growth pan-European growth equity fund in 2005.

He joined the DNCA Finance management team in May 2012.

Lucy Bonmartel

Lucy Bonmartel holds a postgraduate degree in International Finance from Paris IX Dauphine University and is a qualified member of the French financial analysts’ association (SFAF).

She began her career as Head financial sector consultant at the market survey specialist Eurostaf where she worked for 8 years, before becoming analyst then European equity portfolio manager at Société Générale Asset Management for 8 years and at Axa Investment Managers for 6 years.

She joined the DNCA Finance management team in January 2014.

Yingying Wu

Yingying Wu is a graduate of HEC in 2010 and is a CFA charterholder and also holds a master’s degree in Journalism from The Communication University of China in Beijing (2005).

She began her career in the European equities department of BNP Paribas Asset Management in Paris where she co-managed global discretionary funds and an emerging Asia fund.

She joined the DNCA Finance growth team in April 2015.

Don Fitzgerald

Don Fitzgerald, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) graduated from Trinity College Dublin.

He began his career with Citigroup in 1996 firstly in Dublin then in Frankfurt and Paris. He joined WestLB Paris as an investor in distressed debt in 2003 and Tocqueville Finance in 2007. From 2008 to August 2015 he managed the fund Tocqueville Value Europe to first decile performance, by Quantalys, in its category over 1, 3 and 5 years. May 2015 he was awarded the Silver Prize by REVENU for risk adjusted returns in the European equities segment over 3 years. Trilingual, Don worked in Dublin, Paris , London and Frankfurt.

In September 2015, he joined DNCA Finance.

Adrien Le Clainche

Adrien Le Clainche holds a master's degree in Financial Management from Paris X Nanterre University.

He began his career in 2006 with various asset management experiences in the banking groups Candriam, Credit Suisse and Rothschild & Co.

In October 2010, he joined DNCA Finance as a management assistant in the bond and diversified team. He became manager-analyst in 2014 and extended his skills to French and European equities.

Marie-Claire Mainka

Marie-Claire Mainka is a graduate of the ISG international business school and a qualified member of the SFAF (French Society of Financial Analysts).

She began her career as a financial analyst, spending 10 years at Ferri and then moving to Natwest. She then worked in European equity sales at Citigroup and RBS.

In May 2015, she joined DNCA Finance as an analyst.
